Growing up in the theatre, a good show is always my go-to when looking for a night out. Plus, you can never go wrong with a good meal! When I started looking, I found that the Mt. Pleasant area offers some unbelievable food and entertainment options. With a show in every season and a multitude of restaurants to try, the fun never has to end!

Read along to discover shows happening in the community paired with local eateries that relate to the show! These pairings bring the world to your fingertips, you just need to reach out and grab it.

Show – Fox on the Fairway: September 5 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Bush Theatre. Tickets available at Ticket Central.

Restaurant – The Quarry Grill

Quarry Grill at Bucks Run Golf Club, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Dine-out while overlooking the fairway.

Get ready for a night on the green with this pairing! Head to the Quarry Grill at Bucks Run Golf Club for dinner while overlooking the fairway. After, hop onto the fairway with Fox on the Fairway at Bush Theatre.

Grab some food from one of the many local bars and don’t forget to get a Lizzie Borden shot to start the chills running down your back. Finish the evening with a spine-chilling rendition of Lizzie Borden of Fall River at the Broadway Theatre.   

 

Show – Rocky Horror Picture Show: October 24, 25 and 26 at 8 p.m and Midnight at the Broadway Theatre. Tickets Required.

Celebrate one of Tim Curry’s most iconic roles with a plate of your favorite curry dish at a local-favorite Chinese restaurant. After you’ve enjoyed one curry, head to the Broadway Theatre to enjoy another!

 

Show – Ragtime: November 6-9 at 7:30 pm and November 10 at 2:00 pm at the Bush Theatre. Tickets available at Ticket Central.

Get ready for a night in the Big Apple! Start your New York experience by heading to Mountain Town Station for a classic New York strip steak. Next, head to the Broadway Theatre and watch the orphans light up the streets of New York with their singing and dancing!
