Chipp-A-Waters Park
Location: 1403 W. High Street

If you’re looking for somewhere to hammock in Mt. Pleasant that still offers the true sense of nature, Chipp-A-Waters Park is that spot. Chipp-A-Waters Park has over 30 acres of green-space and woodland area making it one of the best places to soak up nature. Set up a hammock anywhere inside Chipp-A-Water and enjoy the woods or a beautiful view of the Chippewa River. 

Island Park

Deerfield Nature Park
Location: 2425 W. Remus Road

Just west of Mt. Pleasant is Deerfield Nature Park. Named Pure Michigan’s most beautiful park in Isabella County, Deerfield offers a journey for every individual. From hiking and playing disc golf at two courses to swimming and hammocking Deerfield offers the perfect outdoor vibe. Central Michigan University
1200 S. Franklin Street

One of the most popular spots to hammock in Mt. Pleasant is on campus at Central Michigan University. Between the beautiful gardens, lively campus and friendly environment, you are guaranteed a relaxing time with friends. (Pro Tip: the trees between Brooks and Anspach are the perfect place to set up.)
