Sept. 16- There’s plenty to do in Mt. Pleasant today! Bring the family to the Ziibiwing Cultural Center for Kids & Culture, after head to the Chippewa River District Library for the Alex Thomas Puppet Show, check out the 4th Annual Taste of Mid Michigan at Island Park, and stop by the Mt. Pleasant Municipal Airport Wings & Wheels for food, cars, planes and drinks. Later, finish the evening at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort for Brews & Tunes.

Sept . 17- Stop by RedBloom’s Second Annual Clothing Swap between 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and bring your gently used clothes to trade and share! Bring the family to The Painted Turtle for Kids Kanvas Painting, cost is $35.

Sept. 18- University Art Gallery is featuring two great exhibits in September. Check out the Department of Art and Design Faculty Art Exhibition and ALTERNATIONAL: Works by Chris Maddox, 2017 Barstow Artist-in-Residence.

Sept. 19- It’s Ticket Tuesday at Cops & Doughnuts – Central Precinct. Bring in your CMU parking ticket today and get a free deluxe doughnut or a 12 oz. Cops Coffee.

Sept. 20-  Change things up and try out Footgolf at Riverwood.

Sept. 21- Today, swing by the annual Prepare Fair at Cops & Doughnuts Central Precinct to learn about resources available in the event of an emergency and take part in the Fall Hunt and Potluck Mushroom Hunt at Deerfield Nature Park.

Sept. 22- Celebrate the first official day of Autumn with the 19th Annual Into the Light Cancer Walk fundraiser and memorial. Also, kick-off homecoming season with Sacred Heart Academy’s Homecoming parade and football game.

Sept. 23- Today, you can attend Zonta Applefest at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch and cheer on the Chippewas at they face Miami, Ohio at Kelly/Short’s Stadium.

Sept. 29- Participate in the 5th annual International Day of Play event at the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum.

Sept. 30- Take a trip down the Chippewa River to check out the fall colors while enjoying some beer at Hunter’s Fall Color Brewer’s Paddle, try something new at Art Reach of Mid Michigan as it hosts the first-ever Henna Body Art for Beginners class (paid event), and visit the 10th Annual Arts from our Parks at Deerfield Nature Park from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Oct. 6- Sport your blue and gold at the Mt. Pleasant High School’s Homecoming parade and game, enjoy live music from Mt. Pleasant’s very own Paddlebots at Music for the Museum, and dance the night away at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort’s live concert with Foreigner.  

Oct. 7- Take the family to Double D Farms Family Fun Day on the Farm 2017Paint Your Pet at Art Reach of Mid Michigan, and shake, rattle, and roll at the Sock Hop for Soctober from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Isabella County Commission on Aging.

Oct. 12- Network at the Chamber of Commerce’s Business and Community Expo at Comfort Inn Conference Center and end the evening with a concert at Wayside featuring Slushii.

Oct. 13- Get hype for CMU Homecoming 2017 at Rock Rally and Mock Rock at Warriner Hall’s Plachta Auditorium or take the family to the first night the Haunted Yard.

Oct. 14- It’s CMU’s Homecoming! In the morning, run to raise money for Special Olympics Michigan athletes at the CMU Homecoming 5k Walk/Run. After, enjoy the Homecoming parade on Main Street, pre-game Tailgate Village performance by Paddlebots, and then cheer on the Chippewas at their Homecoming football game at Kelly/Short’s Stadium. You can also catch comedian Ron White at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort.

Oct. 15- See a live performance of The Addams Family at the Broadway Theatre. Performances October 13-15.

Oct. 27- Get active at the Student Activity Center (SAC).

Oct. 28- Get in the spirit of Halloween with a spooky afternoon at the Hollowing Good Time kids event at the Commission on Aging,  Terror on 27, one of the best haunted house attractions in Michigan, and  My1043 WCZY‘s Boo Bash indoor trick-or-treating  at Morey Courts from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Later, check out Ring of Honor Wrestling at Soaring Eagle Casino.

Oct. 29- Enjoy a CFX featured Sunday movie at Celebration! Cinema Mt. Pleasant for only $4.95.
